Sending You a Flurry of Warm Christmas Wishes

This card was so much fun to make at our Group Meeting earlier this fall......

I think everyone that attended the meeting enjoyed it as much as I did!

We start our card with an Island Indigo card base, then added a strip of the diagonal striped pattern from the Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.  I love how the Island Indigo color peaks out from behind the vellum stripes!

Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum  133364  $11.00

Next, we embossed our snowflakes and sentiment (all found in the Flurry of Wishes Stamp Set) with Silver Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink and the Heat Tool.

We also flagged the end of our sentiment banner using the ever-versatile Banner Triple Punch.

Here's a quick video on Heat Embossing in case you've forgotten how to do it:

Flurry of Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set  139732  $21.00

Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder  109131  $5.00

Versamark Ink  102283  $7.50

Heat Tool  129053  $30.00

Banner Triple Punch  138292  $23.00

We punched our snowflakes using the Snow Flurry and Flower Medallion Punches.  The Snow Flurry Punch is bundled together with the Flurry of Wishes Stamp Set for a 15% savings on both items.

Snow Flurry Punch  139680  $18.00

Flower Medallion Punch  137417  $18.00

Flurry of Wishes Bundle  140868  $33.00

Before we added our largest snowflake to the card, we "swirled" some Silver Metallic Thread behind the snowflake so that it just peaks out from behind it.

We also added a few Rhinestones and punched a couple of small stars from Silver Foil Paper using the star punch found in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch pack.

Silver Metallic Thread  138402  $4.00

Rhinestone Basic Jewels  119246  $5.00

Silver Foil Sheets  132718  $4.00

Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack  133787  $17.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!!
