Winter Wonderland Treat Bag

These are all of the fun treats I made for the attendees at the One Day Crafting Retreat last month!!

I had so much fun putting them all together for each of the ladies :).

For more details on the Winter Wonderland Curvy Keepsake Box (with the "Tis the Season" tag) and the "Noel" water bottle tag, just click here!

Read on below for the details on the gold and white striped treat bag......

This is one of my favorite treat bags!!

It's such a versatile size - it can hold a Kit Kat or other candy bar OR....  it can hold many of our embellishments, like the Iced Rhinestone Embellishments that I included in each person's goody bag at the One Day Retreat.

We start our treat bag with the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die.  These treat bags are so easy to make and assemble (I used Fast Fuse for the assembly of my treat bags) - just follow the step-by-step instructions that come with the Thinlits.

And...  watch this video on how to use our new Fast Fuse Adhesive.  It's similar to our Snail Adhesive, but it's much stronger - so, it works great for 3D projects like this!

Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper  139588  $13.00

Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies  137547  $40.00

Fast Fuse Adhesive  129026  $10.00

Next, I added a wide strip of another pattern of the Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper (those pine cones are gorgeous!) and flagged the bottom of it.  To make that flagged end, I find it's easiest with these wider strips to find the mid-point of the strip, make a mark with a pencil at the mid-point at the desired height and then cut from each side up to that mid-point mark.

This flagged strip of Designer Series Paper is held onto the treat bag with a Mini (Gold) Metallic Clothespin.

Mini Metallic Clothespins  133320  $4.00

Next, I added a small vellum strip (the black diagonal stripe) from the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack to the treat bag.

The "Glad Tidings of Christmas" tag was made using Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink and our Heat Tool.  I then punched it out using the (perfectly coordinating, of course!) Washi Label Punch.  This sentiment/tag, along with 4 other holiday sentiments/tags, can be found in the Hostess Stamp Set, Antique Tags.  You can earn this stamp set with a qualifying $150 order or by hosting your own private Stampin' Up party by December 31!

Finally, I added a Wooden Snowflake Element and an Iced Rhinestone Jewel to the center of that!  These are two of my favorite embellishments in the Holiday Catalog (and each person received them at the One Day Retreat in their goody bag!).

Winder Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack  139594  $10.00

Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder  109129  $5.00
