Fresh Fruit... Thank you

This is such a fun card - I'm sure I've said it before, but I just LOVE our new In Colors!

Here's a peak at a couple of them today......

We made this card last week at our Group Meeting and Inkspiration Night.  Each month, we make a card that gets donated to a local organization.  Lately, we've been bundling up our cards into packs of 3 and delivering them to a local Hospice House in our area.  They use them for prizes for their Bingo nights - and they're a real hit!

We start our card with a Sweet Sugarplum card base, then added a layer of Flirty Flamingo card stock, followed by a layer of Whisper White card stock.  I love how we turned our Whisper White piece to the side to make it look a little askew on our card.

Next, we stamped our cute flowers (from the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set) in our coordinating In Colors - Sweet Sugarplum and Flirty Flamingo.

This stamp set is so much fun to play with - just stamp the large flowers first in Flirty Flamingo ink, then add the outlines to the flowers in Sweet Sugarplum.  They don't have to be perfectly lined up - even if they're "off" just a bit, they still look great!

As we were stamping the flowers, we used a 2" Circle Punch as a mask so that we left a perfect circle in the corner of each card.  Just punch the 2" Circle, lay it on your Whisper White piece and then stamp around it!

Then, we stamped "Thank You" (also from the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set) in Sweet Sugarplum ink.  I actually cut the stamp so that it would fit inside the circle (it was too long otherwise).

Finally, we added a Rhinestone inside each large flower on our card - so cute and simple!
