Painted Autumn... I am Thankful for You

This designer series paper is just gorgeous!  I have had so much fun playing with it this fall!

It definitely takes center-stage on this card.  Read on to learn all about it......

We start our card with an Early Espresso card base, then added a piece of Garden Green card stock layered with a piece of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP).

I love the deep, bold colors on this card - the Early Espresso and Garden Green card stock are the perfect complement to this DSP.  And...  Did you know that Stampin' Up! provides the coordinating card stock colors on each pack of DSP, as well as lists them below each product in the catalog and in the online catalog, too.  It makes creating coordinating cards and other projects so easy!

Next, we punched a 1" wide strip of Very Vanilla card stock with our Banner Triple Punch (I use this punch ALL the time!! - if you don't have it yet, you really need it!) and then stamped "I am thankful for you" in Tangerine Tango ink from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.

We also punched a couple of leaves using our Leaf Punch and some Vellum card stock and then added them to the card.

Finally, we tied a Linen Thread bow around our sentiment and added it to the card with Dimensionals.

This is a great, basic layout for a card - just cut your Designer Series Paper to 3x4" and then added a piece of coordinating card stock behind it that measure 3 1/4 x 4 1/4".

Then, add a coordinating sentiment, embellishment, ribbon, etc as a focal point to your card.

It's so simple and really showcases your favorite Designer Series Paper.
