This was one of my most favorite cards that we made last month at our Simple, Beautiful Card Class! I knew when I found it on Pinterest that it was the perfect card to showcase this stamp set and framelits - thanks so much to Julie Scaparra for her inspiration on this card :).

One of the things that first drew me to this card was the color combination. We start with a Tranquil Tide card base, then added a layer of Cajun Craze card stock, followed by another layer of Tranquil Tide card stock embossed with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder. Who would have thought to put Tranquil Tide and Cajun Craze together?? But.... I love how they work together!

Next, we die-cut a crate from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack using our Wood Crate Framelits. I kept the sides and bottom on the crate, folded them along the score lines and tucked them behind the crate, then adhered them to the card with Mini Dimensionals so that they would pop up off the card and create a little dimension to the crate (as if the pumpkins were really "in" the crate).

Next, we stamped all of those pumpkins and gourds (using the Pick a Pumpkin Stamp Set)....
-2 gourds in Tranquil Tide ink and 1 gourd in Fresh Fig ink
-1 tall pumpkin in Pumpkin Pie ink and 1 tall pumpkin in Tangerine Tango ink (just to provide a little contrast in pumkin colors!)
-the small spotted pumpkin in Pumpkin Pie ink
Then, we die-cut all of our pumpkins and gourds using the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits.
The fun part about the Pick a Pumpkin Stamp Set is that the set is great for fall projects (like this one!), but it can also be used to make some cute Halloween jack-o-lanterns, too (just check out the "faces" in the stamp set below!).
And... you can buy this stamp set and thinlits separately, or save 10% when you buy them in the bundle.

Finally, we die-cut the "cut out" pumpkin (isn't it too cute?) using the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits as well and then stamped "thanks a bunch" in Chocolate Chip ink using the Wood Words Stamp Set. The Wood Words Stamp set can be purchased separately, or save another 10% when you buy the bundle (that includes the Wood Word Framelits, too!).
We die-cut the "thanks a bunch!" sentiment using the Stitched Shapes Framelits - I just love that "stitching" around the circle!
Our final, finishing touch is the Linen Thread bow on our pumpkin. I just tied two layers of Linen Thread together in a bow (just tie like you have one thread, but instead you have two!) - it makes the bow a bit more substantial that way.
