Ok, now on to our card Lots of Lavender card....
This is one of our make-n-takes from Bingo last month. This was another fabulous swap card I received (this time, from Peggy Murwin).
I love her use of the black and white, plus a pop of color!
Read on to learn all about this card :).
We start our card with a Berry Burst card base and then added a layer of Basic Black card stock. Next, we added a layer of Whisper White card stock to the top of the Basic Black piece and a layer of Petal Passion Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the black piece.

Then, we added a strip of Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon to the middle of our layers and added them to the card.

Next, we stamped our lavender flower (from the Lots of Lavender Sale-a-Bration stamp set) in Basic Black ink.
Using the same stamp set, we stamped the flowers and bow in Berry Burst ink and the leaves and stem in Pear Pizzaz ink. I just love the watercolor look of this stamp set! I think it really looks like we water-colored (instead of stamped) it, don't you??

Finally, we die-cut our lavender stamped piece (and the Berry Burst piece layered behind it) using our Lots of Labels Framelits and added them to our card with Dimensionals.
We also added 3 small Rhinestones to our card for a final, finishing touch.
