Country Lane Scrapbook Pages

Here are some fun Scrapbook Pages for you today :).

We made one of these pages at class in September, and then we'll make the 2nd coordinating page at class in October.

Scrapbook Class meets the last Tuesday of every month anytime from 5-9pm.

Our next class is on Tuesday, October 30.  We make three 12x12 page layouts at class each month.  Class is either a $15 fee, or it's free with an order!

Ok, let's check out these pages.....

We start our page with an Early Espresso base, then added 2 strips of the Country Lane Designer Series Paper to the bottom of our page.  I just love that poppy design on the one piece, as well as the cute polka dots on the other piece!

We also added some Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon between the patterns of Designer Series Paper.  This ribbon is so soft and fun to work with!

Next, we stamped "Thinking of you with a Grateful Heart" (from the Falling for Leaves Stamp Set) in Rich Razzleberry ink on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  We also stamped those cute flowers in Crushed Curry ink "behind" our sentiment.  I love doing that, adding that simple design behind the sentiment.  It adds just that touch of color that's needed!  Then, we die-cut our circle with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

We also die-cut a circle using the Layering Circle Framelits and Galvanized Metallic Paper and then embossed this piece with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  This embossing folder creates such a cool look, especially on that Galvanized Metallic Paper!

Finally, we added a Galvzanized Clip tied with a Linen Thread bow to our sentiment.

Here's a peak at our 2nd page.....

Again, we started with an Early Espresso base and added 2 more strips of the Country Lane Designer Series Paper (along with the Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon) to the bottom of our page.

We also added 2 more pieces of Crushed Curry Card Stock to our page to frame our photos.

This time, we stamped a leaf (from the Falling for Leaves Stamp Set) in Rich Razzleberry ink.  We die-cut this leaf, along with the detailed Mint Macaron leaf, using the Detailed Leaves Thinlits.  These thinlits are great - they die-cut just the outlines of the leaves, as well as many detailed leaves, too!

Finally, we tied a Braided Linen Trim bow and added it to our leaf.  When you look closely, you can the "braiding" on this trim.  You can even loosen it or pull it apart for many different looks. We also added 3 Silver Metallic Pearls to the center of our other leaf.
