Here are the Scrapbook Pages we made last month at class. Well, actually... we made one page last month, and we'll be making the other page this month at class.
We always make three 12" x 12" pages at class - a coordinating two-page spread and then a single page spread that will coordinate with next month's single page spread (hope this makes sense!).
If you're local to me (Alma, MI) and would like to make this 2nd page below (along with 2 more fabulous pages!), then join us at class this month.
Scrapbook class meets the last Tuesday of every month anytime from 6-8:30pm.
This month's class is on Tuesday, August 27
RSVPs are due by this Sunday, August 18
Ok.... on to our pages :).

Ok.... on to our pages :).
We start our first page with a Whisper White base, then added 3 strips of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP) to our page. We also added 3 pieces of Mossy Meadow card stock to our page to frame our pictures.
I LOVE this DSP and have had so much fun playing with it this summer! I had a really hard time trying to decide which patterns of DSP to use on these pages.

At the top of the page, we added a Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishment. These embellishments are such a cool addition to our embellishment repetoire :).
Next, we stamped our flower (from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set) in Black Memento ink and colored it in with our Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin' Blends.
Then, we die-cut our flower, along with the Petal Pink flower below it and the Mossy Meadow leaf behind it, using our Magnolia Memories Dies.
You can buy the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and Magnolia Memories Dies separately, or save 10% when you buy them in the bundle.
Finally, we tied a Mossy Meadow Linen Thread bow and added it to our flower.
I just love all of those little details!

Here's a peak at our 2nd page.....
We used the same layout as our first page, with 3 more strips of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP) and 3 more pieces of Mossy Meadow card stock to frame our photos.
Don't you just love that DSP??
This time, we added some BIG impact on our page with the large magnolia flower.
Again, we stamped the flower in Black Memento ink and colored it in with our Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin' Blends and then die-cut it with our Magnolia Memories Dies.
We also added a Linen Ribbon bow to our magnolia. I LOVE working with this ribbon! It is so soft and easy to make a nice bow!
We also stamped "Enjoy Today" in Black Memento ink on a piece of Petal Pink cardstock and die-cut it with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
Finally, we added a Designer Element to our sentiment. These are another great addition to our embellishment possibilities and come in 3 finishes (antique copper, antique gold and antique silver).
