Flowers for Every Season Treat Boxes

I made these cute, little treat boxes earlier this summer as my Club Member treats.

I decided to save sharing them with you until the weather got cooler (and I (any maybe you, too??) might need a pick-me-up).  Well, today is that day!!  It is cold, and rainy....... and I'm just not ready for summer to be over.... so I bringing summer to us with these fun treat boxes instead :).

The boxes are simple to make.  It's actually a slider box.  You make the bottom of the box and then the slider part that goes around the box.

Here's how.....

Start with a piece of card stock measuring 3" x 6 1/2".  Score this piece at 1/2" on all 4 sides.  Cut up along both long ends, fold together and adhere to create the box base.

Next, using a piece of card stock measuring 5 1/2" x 6 1/2", score at 1 1/4", 1 3/4", 3 7/8" and 4 3/8.  Fold along all score lines, and adhere together to create the slider/sleeve that goes over the box base. 

To decorate the top of the box.......

Cut a piece of Flowers for Every Season DSP that measures 1 7/8" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the top of the box.


Next,  cut a Whisper White strip of card stock that measures 3/4" x 3 1/2" and punch the end with the Banners Pick a Punch.  Then, stamp Let's Celebrate You in Misty Moonlight ink using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set.


Then, stamp a sunflower (also from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set) in Bumblebee Ink on Bumblebee card stock and die-cut with the Sunflowers Dies.


Finally, die-cut a Magenta Madness sprigy leaf using the Sunflowers Dies and add a Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon bow to the box.
