Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration and Spring Catalog Sneak Peek Event - Saturday, January 5

Here are the projects we made at the Sneak Peek Event earlier this month!!

We had so much fun playing with some of the new product in the Spring and Sale-a-bration Catalogs!!  It was hard to decide which ones to feature - there are so many great new things to play with!!

This first project features the new Patterned Occasions Stamp set from the SAB Catalog!  I loved this stamp set the moment I saw it!!  Thanks to Sandy Mathis for this cute idea!!

We start with a Primrose Petals card base and add a layer of Whisper White embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder.  That cute stripe DSP is from the Print Poetry DSP Stack - I've already put another pack of that on my wish list - I know I'll be using that a lot!!  The elephant and sentiment "thanks a ton" are from the new Sale-a-bration Patterned Occasions Stamp set that will be available on January 22!  Just make a qualifying purchase of $50 and this cute stamp set can be yours!!  I am getting so excited for Sale-a-bration to begin - how about you??  Finally, we tie a bow with the Primrose Petals 3/8" stitched satin ribbon!  I just love this card!!

This next card was inspired by a card we made at Ronda Wade's Baggie Book event last month.  I loved the card but decided to change up the colors a bit.  This is what I came up with...

For this card, we start with a Basic Black card base, then add a layer of Real Red and Whisper White.  We stamped a few hearts from the new Hearts a Flutter stamp set and then mounted them on Real Red Scallop Square punched layers.  The middle piece is made with the new Designer Builder Brads from the Spring Catalog - just stamp a mini heart with the new Itty Bitties Stamp Set, punch it out with the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, adhere it to the brad with snail adhesive and then add the epoxy bubble over the top of the stamped bitty heart - what a great new embellishment!!  Finally, we added a strip of the Real Red 1/4" Stitched Grograin ribbon and the "Love you" from the Seasonal Sayings stamp set - what a fun card to receive (and send!) this Valentine's Day!!

Our next project is a CASE from Becky Robert's Blog, Inking Idaho.  I love so many of her ideas!!  This is one I've been wanting to try for, literally, years!!  Now I can't get enough of it!!  It is so simple to make!!

It's an adorable treat purse!!  I think every little girl (and maybe some not-so-little girl's, too!) would love to receive one of these!!
We start with the Top Note Bigz Die for the purse, cut another layer of the Print Poetry DSP Stack with the same die (and then trim along the dashes to create that layered look!).
We also ran two hearts thru the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit die and then punched the Very Vanilla one with the Full Heart punch to create another layered look!
Finally, we added a "handle" with the new 7/16" Natural Trim Ribbon - just punch two small holes along the score line, fit the natural trim ribbon through the holes and then adhere to the inside with glue dots!  It's the perfect little treat for that someone "sweet"!

This last project is another CASE from Ronda Wade's Baggie Book Event!  I am loving this new Sale-a-bration paper that will be available on January 22!  How about you??

Most all of the items used on this card are things you can get for FREE with a qualifying $50 order during Sale-a-bration (SAB). As demonstrators, we've been able to order these products since December 1. I just started playing with mine around New Year's and am having so much fun. That's just another great reason to purchase the starter kit and become a demo - no need to hold classes or parties unless you want to - just take advantage of the 20% product discount and get products in advance (before anyone else can!!)!!

For this last project, we started with a Pool Party card base and added a layer of the new SAB Sycamore Street DSP - there's also a strip of the new Sycamore Street ribbon (in Island Indigo) and a Tangerine Tango button from the Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack!!  The stamped images are from the Madison Avenue SAB stamp set (the rich razzleberry flower) and the Vintage Verses SAB Stamp Set (the sentiment, "There's only one you").  I love the bright, bold colors of this new Sale-a-bration offering - do you like them, too??

Just about the only image I can actually share right now is the Island Indigo Baker's Twine.  Kinda silly since you can barely even see it in this picture....  it's tied thru that cute button....  do you see it??
