My September Swap Card

This is the swap card I made for our Gathering Inkspiration Stamp Studio September Swap....
I took a few of them to last weekend's Creative Convention down in Lansing, too.

I just love the soft, cool colors on this card!!

We start with a simple Whisper White card base, then stamped images from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set - the lines (or skid marks!) in Pear Pizzaz ink and the water splotches in Silver Metallic Encore Ink.  We also stamped "peace & joy" in Lost Lagoon ink - this stamp is from the Good Greetings Stamp Set.  You can get your chance to win this stamp set with any $50 order between now and October 31!!  Just click here to begin shopping today!! 

Next, we added strips of All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper and Washi Tape.  We also stamped the feathers (from the Four Feathers stamp set) in Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizzaz ink, then die-cut them with the coordinating Feather Framelits Dies.  These two items are bundled together for a 15% savings!!  For the final touch, we added a bow tied with Basic Gray Baker's Twine and a couple of Frosted Sequins.
