Petal Potpourri... Purple Fantasy

The watercolor flowers on this card are simply gorgeous, don't you agree??

I can just imagine the Stampin' Up artist sitting down to paint these flowers!
How neat it would be to have that kind of talent!

We start our card with a Blackberry Bliss card base - this card base actually measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2", scored at 3 1/4" for the front of the card base.  We added a piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside of the card to make it stand out (and so that a written sentiment could be seen), then rounded the edges of the card with our Project Life Corner Rounder Punch.

On the front of the card, we added a piece of the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper - those little purple flowers just make me happy!

Next, we stamped that gorgeous flower (from the Petal Potpourri Stamp set) in Rich Razzleberry ink and punched it out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.  I tried the Blackberry Bliss ink first, which is supposed to be the color of the watercolor flowers on this DSP, but it just seemed to harsh - so, I chose Rich Razzleberry ink instead!
Then, we layered this piece on top of a Blackberry Bliss circle die-cut with our Circle Framelits.  We also added that fun Daffodil Delight Button from our Brights Designer Buttons to the center of the flower.

Circle Collection Framelits  130911  $26.95

Finally, we added another strip of the Painted Blooms DSP behind the flower/circle piece and flagged the end of the piece with our 1" Square Punch.

I hope you enjoyed this card!!

And...  I hope you were Inkspired today!!
