Warm Winter Wishes

Oooooh, I just love this stamp set!!

We featured it a couple of weekends ago at a Holiday Stamp-a-Stack Class.  I knew when I saw this card in the Holiday catalog we'd have to make it at class (and we did!).  We also made 3 other cards featuring this stamp set (3 of each of them for a total of 12 cards).  That's a mouthful!  In addition, each person that attended class also received the Winter Wishes Stamp set and a White Calk Marker.  We had so much fun!!

If you're sorry you missed this great class, no worries....
You can still participate in the next Holiday Stamp-a-Stack Class on Sunday, November 15.

Ok,  now on to our card....

We start our card with an Early Espresso card base then added a layer (4" x 4")
of Crumb Cake card stock.

Then, we stamped all of those wonderful vintage images from the Winter Wishes
Stamp set as follows:

-the ice skates in Lost Lagoon ink
-the sled in Early Espresso ink
-the snow shoes in Crumb Cake ink
-the skis in Old Olive ink

Winter Wishes Stamp Set  wood-mount  139742  $25.00
Winter Wishes Stamp Set  clear-mount  139745  $18.00

Next, we added some "snow" to our outdoor sports gear using the White Calk Marker that each person received at class.

We also tied an Old Olive Baker's Twine bow around our stamped piece and then attached this piece to our card.

White Chalk Marker  132133  $3.50

Old Olive Baker's Twine  134579  $3.00

Finally, we added a strip of the White Glitter Ribbon to the card and then attached our greeting, "Warm Wishes", to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Each of the ends of the greeting piece were punched with the Banner Triple Punch.

This punch makes the perfect flagged ends on a 1", 1 1/2" and 2" wide strip of card stock.

Gold & White 3/8" Glitter Ribbon  139614  $10.00

Banner Triple Punch  138292  $23.00

I hope you enjoyed this card!!

And...  I hope you have an Inkspired day!!
