Wishes All Aglow

Here's a fun holiday card for you today!!  I've been super-busy trying to get all of my customer christmas cards made and ready to go!  I like to put a hand-written note in each card, too, so it takes a little while!  But... it's so worth it!  I love that each person knows I spent a few minutes thinking of them as I addressed their Christmas card :).

Here's an example of a card I might just be sending out this year....

Read on to learn all about it!

We start our card with an Old Olive card base, then added a layer of Basic Black card stock, followed by a layer of Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Aren't those polka dots cute??  Check out all of the other fun designs in this DSP below.

Next, we added a strip of (my favorite) Black & White Striped Ribbon to the card.  This ribbon is so easy to work with - just add a strip like we did here for a dramatic effect on your card.  Or.... you can make fun bows with it, like I did in my previous post here!

Then, we stamped ho, ho, ho and the sentiment in Versamark ink and embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder and our Heat Tool.  I love embossing holiday cards!!  And... the images in this stamp set, Wishes All Aglow, are the perfect choice for this!
