Petal Potpourri.... You are Amazingly Amazing

I love the polka dots on this Designer Series Paper!!  They served as the color inspiration for this card - in Wild Wasabi, Rose Red and Daffodil Delight.

Stampin' Up makes it so easy to come up with color great combinations - just look to our Designer Series Paper (see pages 184-187 of the Annual Catalog) and find the color combo that best suits the mood for your card!

In this case, I loved these fun bright colors to set the tone for our sentiment
"You are amazingly Amazing"!

We start our card with a Wild Wasabi card base, then add a layer of Whisper White card stock.  Next, we added a strip of the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the card.

We also tied one of my simple "cheater bows" around the card - just cut a strip of Daffodil Delight cotton ribbon a little bit wider than the card and adhere it behind the Whisper White layer (then attach this layer to the card base).  Next, tie a simple knot around the strip of ribbon to create the bow (make sure to keep the ribbon on the bolt as you are doing this - it is so much easier to work with this way!)

Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper 137784  $10.95

Daffodil Delight 1/4" Cotton Ribbon  134559  $5.95

Next, we stamped that gorgeous flower (from the Petal Potpourri stamp set) in Rose Red ink and punched it out with the coordinating Flower Medallion Punch.  This stamp set and punch are bundled together for a 15% savings on both items!

Petal Potpourri Stamp Set/Flower Medallion Punch Bundle  clear-mount  138586  $19.95

Finally, we stamped "You are amazingly Amazing" from the Painted Petals stamp set (in Rose Red ink).  I just love that sentiment - and who wouldn't love to receive a card with that sentiment in the mail!!

Painted Petals Stamp Set  wood-mount  138819  $32.95
Painted Petals Stamp Set  clear-mount  138822  $24.95
Painted Petals Stamp Set  photopolymer  137146  $23.95

I hope you enjoyed this card!!

And...  I hope you were Inkspired today!!
