Farmer's Market

I know it's hard to believe.... but, fall will be here before you know it!!

My son's football team is already practicing 4 nights a week in preparation for his first (7th grade) football game!! I love summer, but I also get really excited for this time of year!!

So... I thought this it would be fun to feature a card that "feels" like fall as well.....

We start our card with a Hello Honey Card base, then added a couple of strips of the Farmer's Market Designer Series Paper (DSP). I love the gingham print on the paper on the bottom of the card, as well as those gorgeous pears on the top of the card!! You really need to see this DSP in person to get the full effect. It is beautiful!!

Next, we tied a Hello Honey Striped Cotton Ribbon bow around the card. I love how the ribbon and DSP all work so well together.

Finally, we stamped "happy birthday wishes" from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set (in Old Olive ink) and punched it out with the Large Oval Punch.

This piece was layered on top of an Old Olive Scallop Oval Punched piece and adhered to the card with Dimensionals. I love the layering of these two punches - it's one that's been around for a while, probably because it works so well!
