Floral Phrases... A Special Note of Thanks

Here's a simple, gorgeous card for you today....

We start our card with an Island Indigo (still one of my favorite all-time colors!) Card base, then we a Whisper White layer to our card.  We had LOTS of fun with this Whisper White layer.....

First (and these steps are important to follow so that it all fits on your Whisper White layer!), we die-cut the bottom of our Whisper White layer with the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies.  Make sure to use your Precision Base Plate (it works great on these detailed dies!) and the Big Shot Die Brush & Paper Piercing Tool (to remove all of those little die-cut bits from your Whisper White layer).

Next, we stamped that beautiful floral strip and the sentiment "A Special Note of Thanks to You...." (in Island Indigo ink) from the Floral Phrases Stamp Set

Then, we embossed the top of our Whisper White layer using the Sparkle Embossing Folder (just emboss whatever is remaining at the top of your Whisper White layer, depending on how you stamped and die-cut the bottom of this layer).  

We also tied a Smoky Slate 1/8" Stitched Ribbon "cheater" bow (just put a strip of ribbon around the Whisper White layer and adhere to the back of the card stock, then tie a small knot around this strip to create the "bow") and then added this layer to our card using our Fine Tip Glue Pen around those detailed cuts on the bottom of our Whisper White layer.
