Fruit Stand... Thank you

This is one of the cards we made recently at our Group Meeting.  Each month, we make cards to donate to local organizations.  Recently, we've been making cards to donate to our local Hospice House - they use them as prizes for their bingo games!

We start our card with a Pear Pizzaz card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock, followed by a piece of the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper.

Next, we stamped that gorgeous pear using the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set...

-we stamped the pear in Pear Pizzaz ink (stamp this image off on a "scratch" piece of paper first to give it a lighter shade of ink)

-we stamped the outline of the pear in Pear Pizzaz ink

-we stamped the leaves (again, stamp this off first) in Early Espresso ink

-we stamped the outline of the leaves in Early Espresso ink

-finally, we stamped the water splotches in Pear Pizzaz ink (on our pear and on the Whisper White piece)

Finally, we stamped "thank you" (also from the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set) in Early Espresso ink.

We also added a Linen Thread bow to our pear and a Rhinestone to give it a little sparkle.
