Cookie Cutter Halloween.... Happy Halloween

Here's a spooky Halloween card for you today...  Ok, maybe it's not so much spooky as it is cute :).  I mean those bats and the mummy are pretty cute, aren't they??

We start our card with a Whisper White card base, then added another piece of Whisper White card stock to our card.

Next, we added 3 strips of the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to our card, kind of off-setting one strip from the next to create a layered background.  All of the designs in this DSP are so much fun (check them all out below)!!

Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper  142022  $13.00

Then, we die-cut the "tomb" using the Lots of Labels Framelits and the Pumpkin Pie circle using the Layering Circles Framelits.

We stamped the "grids" on the "tomb" using the Timeless Textures Stamp Set (and Sahara Sand ink) and the bats on the Pumpkin Pie circle using the Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set (and Basic Black ink).

Lots of Labels Framelits  138281  $27.00

Layering Circles Framelits  141705  $35.00

Timeless Textures Stamp Set  wood-mount  140514  $28.00
Timeless Textures Stamp Set  clear-mount  140517  $20.00

Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set  wood-mount  142252  $23.00
Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set  clear-mount  142255  $17.00

Then, we stamped "happy halloween" from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set on a 1/2" strip of Whisper White card stock.  We layered this piece on top of a 1" strip of Basic Black card stock.

Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set  wood-mount  128748  $37.00
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set  clear-mount  127802  $27.00

Finally, we stamped our mummy (from the Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set) in Basic Black ink and then "mummified" him to make him look old and weathered with our Blender Pen and Sahara Sand ink.  Just squeeze the ink pad together while it's closed.  Then open up the ink pad and draw up a bit of ink from the pool of ink in the top of the lid with your Blender Pen.  Blend the ink on your mummy as desired, adding more ink to your Blender Pen when it runs clear.

We also punched the mummy out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, put a couple of staples through him with our Handheld Stapler and then added him to our card with Dimensionals.

Blender Pens  102845  $10.00

Cookie Cutter Builder Punch  140396  $18.00

Handheld Stapler  139083  $10.00

I hope you enjoyed this fun Halloween card!

Thanks so much to Kimberly VanDiepen for her inspiration on this card!
