Here are the Scrapbook pages we made at class last month.
Everyone loved this Bird Ballad Suite! It was a big hit! If you don't have this suite yet, you're going to want to order it ASAP :).

We start our first page with a Daffodil Delight base, then a piece of Crumb Cake card stock to the center of the page and a strip of the beautiful Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to the bottom of our page.

Next, we stamped those cute birdies (from the Free as a Bird Stamp Set) in Black Memento ink and then colored them with our Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, and Calypso Coral Combo Blends Markers and our Pool Party Light Blends Marker. I love how the shading around the birds accents them!
We die-cut the birdies, along with the Old Olive layer behind them, using our Stitched Nested Dies.
You can purchase the Free as a Bird Stamp Set and Stitched Nested Dies separately, or save 10% when you buy them in the bundle.

Then, we stamped "We're the best of friends" (also from the Free as a Bird Stamp Set) in Old Olive ink and die-cut our sentiment (and the Old Olive layer behind it) using the Stitched Rectangle Framelits.
Finally, we added a Terracotta Tile Flower Facted Gem to our sentiment. These flowers add some gorgeous texture and dimension to our page (and also come in Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron).

For our next page, we started with a Crumb Cake base, then added two pieces of Daffodil Delight card stock to the center of our page, along with 2 more strips of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to the side and bottom of our page.
Here's a closer look at some of the patterns in the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper - it is just beautiful!
In the top corner of our page, we stamped a couple of flowers (also from the Free as a Bird Stamp Set) in Old Olive ink. I have used these flowers on so many projects - I just love them!
Finally, we punched our flowers out with the 1" Circle Punch and added a couple of Gold Faceted Gems to the center of the flowers.
