Here are the projects we made at the 3D Project/Big Shot Class last night. What fun we had!!
This first card is a CASE from Sandy Mathis on Stampin' Connection. I changed up the color scheme a bit by using the Floral District fabric on this card. All of the fabric in the current catalog is retiring on June 3, and it's on sale for only $5.97!!
I love how the card turned out, and the fabric flower was surprisingly simple to make. You start with a Jumbo Sticky Round. Cut a 1" strip of fabric and tie one end in a knot. I trimmed my knot as much as I could without it coming undone. Then, stick the knot down in the middle of the sticky round, twist the fabric and adhere to the sticky round as you go, winding it around itself in a circular motion. When you get to the end, just peel the sticky round off the clear sheet and fold back any remaining sticky round around itself and tuck the end of the fabric in on the back of the sticky round. Then apply it to the card!
We also embossed the whisper white layer with the Polka Dot folder, added some leaves with the Bird Builder Punch and stamped Happy Birthday from the Bring on the Cake set.

This next project is a cute pin that would be great to add to a fun present for someone special!
We started with the Flower Folds Bigz XL Die (retiring on June 3) and stamped the polka dots on the flowers with the Distressed Dots background stamp. Next, we added a So Saffron scallop circle and a 1 3/8" circle punched from the Floral District Designer Series Paper (also retiring on June 3). We also added a Brights Glimmer Brad to the center for some pop! Finally, we added the sentiment So many smiles.... begin with you (from the Petite Pairs stamp set) to the little circles that dangle from the flower! Thanks to Susan Wohlfert for this great idea from Convention last summer!!

This last project is a cute gift pouch! This was another fun idea that I received from a swap at Convention last year from Angie Kopydlowski.
For this project, we start with the Scallop Envelope Bigz Die (retiring on June 3). We left one end of the envelope open and inserted a pouch of Crystal Light Margarita flavor mix! We stamped the margarita glass from the Happy Hour set and mounted it on a 2 3/8" Scallop circle punched from Tangerine Tango card stock. Finally, we added some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter to the rim of our margarita glass for the "salt"! What fun!
