Here are the cards we made at the Saturday Stamp-a-Stack last Saturday, May 11.

This first card is one that I saw on a board at the Leadership Convention in Orlando (back in January!), and I'm so glad I finally had the chance to put it together!!

We start with a Marina Mist card base, then add a layer of Whisper White embossed with the Cloudy Day Textured Impression Embossing folder (retiring on May 31) on the top of the card and a layer of the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper (retiring on May 31) on the bottom. We also added a layer of Whisper White to the very bottom of the card that was punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch. Next, we stamped (in Black Stazon ink) the rain boot and the sentiment using the Bootiful Occasions Stamp set and then added the Marina Mist shading with our blender pen. Finally, we tied a simple bow with the Marina Mist Striped Organdy Ribbon (retiring on May 31)!

Our next card was CASEd from Miechelle Weber on Stampin' Connection - I just changed out the Designer Series Paper.
We start with the strip of Patio Party Designer Series paper (retiring on May 31) and then build the card from there. This DSP features the color palette Baja Breeze, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse (all 2012-14 In Colors). So, we inked the balloon and cake images from the Patterned Party Stamp set (retiring on May 31) with these color markers and then stamped "make a wish" from the Sweet Essentials Stamp Set on a strip of Baja Breeze card stock (flagged with a square punch). The cake image is mounted on the Ovals Collection Framelits and the strip of DSP is highlighed on either side with the Adorning Accents Edgelits.

Isn't this next card such a sweet "sweet baby" card?? I love the buttons on this fun Designer Series Paper from the Bandstand Simply Scrappin' Kit (retiring on May 31). We stamped the sailboat and birdie images from the Moving Forward Stamp Set (retiring on May 31) and punched them with the 2 1/2" circle punch. Then we mounted this piece on a Pool Party scallop circle from the Perfect Pennants Die and added a silver brad. Finally, we stamped the "sweet baby" sentiment from the Itty Bitty Banners set and die-cut it with the Bitty Banner framelits.

Our next card features the Hostess Stamp set, A Cherry on Top. This is the first (and possibly the only) time I'll play with this set because it's retiring on May 31. I looked at it most of the year and just never got a chance to play with it until now! I'm glad I finally did! For this card, I used the color combination Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant (for the card stock layers and stamping). We added a fun Elegant Eggplant 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon (retiring on May 31) at the bottom, along with one of the Brights Collection Desinger Buttons (also retiring on May 31). Finally, we stamped the cherry in Real Red ink and then added some crytal effects to the cherry to make it pop!

Our last card features the Flock Together Stamp set (retiring on May 31 - are you noticing a theme yet??), along with the Birds of a Feather Designer Series Paper (also retiring on May 31). The bird and birdcage images were stamped in Island Indigo and River Rock and punched with the 2 1/2" circle punch, then mounted on the scallop circle from the Perfect Pennants Die (like the "sweet baby" card above). We stamped "congratulations" in Island Indigo with the Itty Bitty Banners set and die-cut it with the Bitty Banner framelits as well. Finally, we added a Natural Ribbon Trim bow to finish the card.
