All-Occasion Card Class/Club - Wednesday, May 8

Here are the great cards we'll be making at class tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8 at 7pm!

This first card is one that I've seen on Pinterest and Stampin' Connection for a long time now - and I'm finally getting the chance to try it out! Thanks so much to Mary Fish for her never-ending supply of cute card ideas!!

This card features the Moving Forward stamp set, which is such a cute set (and, of course, will be retiring on June 3!). We stamped those fun frogs in Old Olive ink and then added a layer of the coordinating Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (DSP) in Old Olive to the bottom of the card. We also added a border above the DSP with the Finishing Touches Edgelit (kind of looks like teeth, doesn't it?) and then added that fun, Happy Birthday, with the Sassy Salutations set on a piece die-cut with the Apothecary Accents framelits.

This next card is a fun, Sunflower-inspired card! It features the Printed Petals stamp set and the Friendly Phrases stamp set (both of which are retiring on June 3!). We also added a layer of the Sunshine & Sprinkles Designer Series Paper behind the flowers and sentiment and then tied an Early Espresso 1/4" Stitched Grograin ribbon around it all!

This next card is just in time for Mother's Day (or maybe you'll be really ready for next year!). Thanks to Brenda Rivera for posting this card idea on Stampin' Connection I'm also providing other stamps (with sentiments like Happy Birthday) that could be used for this card this month as well.

This card features the Cloudy Day embossing folder on the top half of the card and the Brights Collection Designer Series Paper Stack (one of the items on the retiring accessories list) on the bottom of the card. I also wanted to use the color, Regal Rose, one last time before it retires! We stamped the beautiful flower and vase using the Bright Blossoms set and mounted that on a piece die-cut with the Labels Collection Framelits and then embossed with one of the Designer Frames Embossing folders. Finally, we tied a sweet bow using the 3/8" Striped Orandy Ribbon and stamped "Happy Mother's Day" on the inside of the card with the Wonderful Mother set (which is retiring on June 3).

We also added a Silver Basics Designer Button tied with some Linen Thread to complement the masculine feel of the card!
