3D Project Class/Club - Thursday, December 18

These are the fun Valentine's Day projects we made at our 3D Project/Big Shot/Gift Item Class last night.....

I know it might seem kind of strange to be thinking about Valentine's Day already, but it really is right around the corner (especially if you want to make a cute treat for this special day!).  I guess it's never too early to start planning ahead (which isn't really like me at all!!).  It's definitely been an adjustment to start thinking this way as I run my business!

Here's a closer look at our first treat....

We cut a 5 1/2" x 2" strip of Very Vanilla card stock for this treat, then scored it at 2 5/8" on each end.  Next, we punched each end with our Scallop Tag Topper punch and added some of that gorgeous Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon the top of the treat.

Then, we stamped that cool heart and the "From My Heart" sentiment (from the Groovy Love Stamp Set) in Cherry Cobbler ink and punched it out with our Sweetheart Punch and Bitty Banner Framelits, Finally, we added a touch of gold - with our Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape and a mini Gold Foil heart punched from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch pack.

Scalloped Tag Topper Punch  133324  $22.95

Cherry Cobbler 1" Sheer Linen Ribbon  135839  $7.95

Groovy Love Stamp Set  wood-mount  134243  $24.95

Sweetheart Punch  133786  $15.95

Bitty Banner Framelits  129267  $14.95

Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape  133000  $4.95

Gold Foil Sheets 132622  $3.95

Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack  133787  $16.95

We also wrapped 1" strips of our Regals Designer Series Paper Stack (in Cherry Cobbler pattern) around 4 Hershey Nuggets and tucked them inside the treat.

Regals Designer Series Paper Stack  130139  $21.95

Here's a peak at our next treat....  It's a 1" x 8" Cello Bag filled with M&Ms.

We die-cut a large heart using our Heart Framelits, then sponged the edges with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Next, we stamped the outlined heart image on our die-cut piece and then the polka dot heart (both from the Groovy Love Stamp Set) on a separate piece that we punched out with our Sweetheart Punch.

Finally, we added our Linen Thread bow and some Gold Sequin Trim to the heart treat - so cute and simple!!

1" x 8" Cello Bags  124134  $2.50

Hearts Collection Framelits  125599  $26.95

Stampin' Sponges  101610  $3.50

Linen Thread  104199  $4.50

Gold Sequin Trim  132983  $4.95

And here's a closer look at our last Valentine's Day treat (I apologize for the color on this shot - something happened during editing, just as I was saving the picture! - so, I couldn't reverse it!)

We made this treat with a 6 1/2" x 2" strip of Very Vanilla Card Stock, scored at 2 1/2" on each end.  Next, we punched each end with our Angled Tag Topper punch and added some of that fun Gold Baker's Twine the top of the treat.

We stamped that "groovy" heart again, this time on Very Vanilla card stock, and added the little "Love" circle (punched with our 1/2" Circle Punch) - both were stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and are from the Groovy Love Stamp Set.  We also stamped "born to be loved" (also from the Groovy Love Stamp Set) in Soft Suede ink.

Finally, we added some Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape to the treat!

Angled Tag Topper Punch  133323  $22.95

Gold Baker's Twine  132975  $3.50

1/2" Circle Punch  119869  $5.95

I hope you enjoyed these fun Valentine's Day projects as much as we did at class!!

And...  I hope to see you sometime soon at a class!!
