Happy Wonderful Christmas

This is a card I made this year for the Holidays - it's a simple card that sparkles up close!!

It was fun to use the pinecomb image in the Ornamental Pine Stamp Set to create this wreath - I alternated between Lost Lagoon and Old Olive ink colors.  I found it was easiest to stamp the six Old Olive pinecombs first, then fill in with the Lost Lagoon pinecombs around it.  I also added a bow made from strips of the Burlap Ribbon (see this idea here) - I love the added texture of these strips of Burlap Ribbon compared to our Linen Thread!

Ornamental Pine Stamp Set  wood-mount  135104  $25.95
Ornamental Pine Stamp Set  clear-mount  135107  $18.95

1 1/4"Burlap Ribbon  132140  $7.95

I also stamped "Happy wonderful Christmas" (from the Wondrous Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set) in Lost Lagoon ink below the wreath.  I just love the look of this sentiment - the whimsical font of the "wonderful" between the more traditional font of the "Happy" and "Christmas" -   Love, love. love this!!

Can you see the sparkle up close??  It's even better in person!  I was looking at my craft table (you should see it right now!!), trying to find a simple embellishment to add to the card.  And, there it was..... the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz!!  It was just what I needed to add a beautiful (quick) shimmer to the card!

I hope you enjoyed this card!!

And.... I hope you all truly have a "Happy Wonderful Christmas"!!
