So, apparently I've really been enjoying Erica Cerwin's cards.... here's another idea I found on her Pink Buckaroo blog - we made this card at class earlier this year, too!
It's just so cute, don't you agree??
We start our card with a Whisper White card base, then stamped our clouds directly on to our card stock using the Balloon Celebration Photopolymer Stamp Set and Pool Party ink. Make sure to use your Stampin' Pierce Mat under your card stock to get the best stamped image with this solid-image photopolymer stamp!

Next, we added a piece of the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack (that fun, bright yellow paper) to the front of our card.

We also stamped our balloons - the outline image and the inside "air bubbles" (also from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set) - in Melon Mambo ink on Melon Mambo paper. Then, we stamped the "strings" to the balloons in Basic Black Archival Ink. Next, we punched our balloons out with the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch. You can buy the stamp set and punch separately, or (and why wouldn't you?), buy them together in the bundle and save 15%!
We also added a Melon Mambo and Black Baker's Twine bow to the strings of our balloons.

Finally, we stamped "Happy Birthday" (another stamp found in the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set) in Basic Black Archival Ink and flagged the ends of the banner with our 1" Square Punch.
