Have a Cuppa.... Hot Chocolate!

This is one of the fun make-n-takes that everyone that attended the One Day Retreat on April 9 got to make....  They each received a pack of the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack in their goody bag.  I like to incorporate items from their goody bag into their make-n-takes.  Then, they can see some fun ideas of how to use the products in their goody bags!

 We start our card with an Island Indigo card base, then we added a layer of Early Espresso card stock, followed by a layer of Crumb Cake card stock embossed with the Zig Zag Embossing Folder.  I have not used this embossing folder much lately, and it worked perfectly on this card.

Next, we added a strip of the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack to the front of our card.  This piece was mounted on top of an Early Espresso strip to really make it stand out.

Then, we stamped those splotches (or maybe hot chocolate stains??) on a strip of Whisper White card stock using our Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and some Early Espresso ink.  We also punched the top of the white tag with our Ornate Tag Topper Punch and added some Early Espresso Seam Binding Ribbon to the top of the tag.

Finally, we stamped "Come, let us sit together and drink hot chocolate" from the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and die-cut our mug with the Cups & Kettles Framelits.  We also die-cut that fun heart using the Cups & Kettles Framelits.

For a final finishing touch, we added a couple of small hearts to our card using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.
