This is another card I made recently for the Holidays....
At first, I have to admit that I was a bit overwhelmed at needing to make so many Christmas cards to send this year. I really wanted to send cards to all of my customers, friends and relatives, but when I added them all up, it was a ton of cards!!
I ended up spreading it out over a couple of weeks and enlisted the help of my kids (even my 12 year old son, Cade, helped - and you know what, he really enjoyed it!! or.... maybe it was that he got to stay up past his school-night bedtime??).
At any rate, we had a lot of fun making the cards, and I find I really enjoy (when I allow enough time!) writing a little something to each person - it's fun to think of each friend and reflect on how they've touched our lives this year. What a blessing it is when I think of all of you!!

Ok (enough gushing!), on to the card....
I love the simple look of this card - and I love the color combination (Bermuda Bay and Old Olive)!!
Just stamp "A Merry Little Wish..." on the Whisper White layer of card stock, then emboss this layer using the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder and add it to our Whisper White Card Base.

Next, stamp the tree (from the Festival of Trees Stamp Set) in Old Olive ink and the dots in Bermuda Bay ink - do you see how you don't have to line up the dots perfectly on the tree?? Don't stress about this like I did at first! It's gorgeous either way!! Some come out perfectly, while others are just a bit askew!!
Next, punch out the tree with our coordinating (and bundled together for a 15% savings, of course!) Tree Punch.
The finishing touches include:
- a strip of Bermuda Bay cardstock (with the edges "flagged") behind the tree - a 1" square punch works perfectly for this job!
-a mini Silver Foil Sheet star (punched with the star from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack)
- a Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine bow
